Vineyards
Presently we labour 51,7 hectares of vineyards in a wine region of Mikulov, and particularly in wine areas of Mikulov, Perná and Bavory. The vineyards are located underneath the Pálava Hills, the warmest area of the Czech Republic. The individual vineyards have documented historical names.

- area: 24 hectares
- varieties: Pinot Gris 20%, Chardonnay 15%, Sauvignon 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon 45%
- planted in 1997, 1998, 1999
- oriented: SE, S, SW
- soil: clay and calcareous loess
- interesting feature: superb location, dating back to the 13th century as a part of the Ditrichstein dominion

Our wine growing philosophy is aimed at the following: low burdening of the vine plant with clusters, reduction of harvest and focus on individual clusters. Our objective is to cut the burden imposed on nature by using biotechnology and limiting use of chemicals .
